Hello,

I have a stupid question that I am asking for a friend about the tour..Is there anyway to get smileys emotion icons in text messages...Please dont blast me as im a s2 user and this question is for my friends wife.

I dont think so, just the normal : ), ; ) ones. I doubt there is a way to get actual smilies through text. BBM is another story though

To add a smilely to text on the tour....use the symbol key...hit mutiple times to get to page 3 and 4.....os 5.0 230....not sure about any prev os's....

Just checked my wife's tour...on 5.0 230 there is also a smilely just to the right of your typing...this will also open the list of smilely's...just like the s2..

Wait, I have the smiley icon right there in the threaded messages on Sprint 5.0 484, lets me pick out of a bunch of icons actually.

Hmm. I don't do TEXT but just tried an email and I only have TWO (2) symbol pages and none have smilies. Is it only a text thing? I've got a 5.x hybrid. But I never knew there was a second page - so still a new learning experience.

I didn't know there were multiple pages either. What I do see is that I have only 2 pages of symbols, probably because I am not using 5.0 OS yet.
