stuck in constant reboot.. "NUKED" restore only lasts for a few hours...
I have reinstalled the OS several times using AppLoader (avoiding BB Desktop Manager) and avoided installing any third party Apps.
The only app I installed this last OS reinstall (this is the third time) was Google Sync. I noticed the constant reboot loop first happened when my BB had to process large amounts of data (either uploading or downloading). Now, even with bare-bones apps (just email, calendar, contacts, msg, clock, google sync), after a few txts, it will fall into a reboot loop. Often, the only way I could get out of it was through AppLoader.
Other problems/possible causes:
"media card can't be accessed...fatal error" - I dont' care about this too much as I don't store any media and I'm planning to dump this phone in a couple of months. It's getting close to 2 years. Am I low on memory so that's why the reboot cycle is occurring?
Battery? - when the reboot loops first happened, the battery would be totally drained, even after having a full charge. Also, if I leave the battery out for about an hour or so since the last reboot loop, it will sometimes load. But once I receive a few emails or txt, it will shut down and reboot again.
Any clues? As I wrote above, I'm planning on changing phones in a few months when my contract expires, but I'd like to be able to use it for Calendars, contacts, txts and emails for those few months and I'm looking for cost effective solutions.
Much appreciated
