I got my storm back in December. And since then I've had 6 replacements and only one has been because I split the screen in half. The rest were software issues. I have a year and 3 months left on my contract. What can I do to get a tour

since you have had 6 storms so far, luck is on your side. all you have to do is call *611 and talk to verizon. tell them your situation and that you had 6 storms so far and ask if they can get you into the Tour.
they will more then likly help you out with that

Just keep calling. Explain that you have had multiple issues with the storm and you would like a new device. Many people have had luck getting the storm switched for the tour.

It just takes time to get the right CS person. You can also try retentions, they are a little more workable if you are threatening to cancel.

Good luck, just keep at it and you will get it switched.

You shouldn't. They should just send you the tour and you will mail them back the storm.

since you have a 1 and 3 months left, you would probably have to pay the new every 2 two price which is 199.00 after the 70 dollar mail in rebate... i doubt they will swap your storm for the tour though since you still have a lot of time on your contract still, but its a lot better then paying almost 500 bucks for a tour retail

yes. unless youre a touchscreen fanboy.

this is how i upgraded all my phones pre-bb. theyd break enough times till theyd give me a upgraded model. vx3200, vx5200, razrs, chocolates, env, it goes on and on. i think the magic number is 3 new devices before theyll go ahead and allow you to get a different one. thats their replacement agreement with manufacturers. im 95% sure they will let you get the tour at no charge whatsoever. just be nice and patient

Yes. I called tonite and was calm and patient. I had a reboot issue w/ Storm #1. And I had muffled sound on #'s 2 & 3. They are sending me a brand new Tour and I am keeping my old Storm. Can you say eBay?
