I was in the Sprint store today to ask about downgrading my operating system to the previous version, and lo and behold the manager showed me on her computer that they are planning to roll out 5.0.0.983 on Tuesday November second for the blackberry tour. Sounds like they are FINALLY addressing all the problems they had with the last build/

Interesting........I've got a verizon tour. Should I go about upgrading from 975 to this? If it happens to actually come out? What's it like being on a different carriers os release?

EDIT: you sure 983 isn't for the 9650? Sprint already released it

My Bold is on the .975 that Verizon released and it works just fine. I had tried the new 6.0 and HATED it.

Did a wireless update check this morning and "No Updates Available" greeted me. I can't wait to get a Bold with os6, love my Tour but its time to move on.

Check out the link. From and admin on sprint's own site and it's STILL not available. At the bottom it says 5.0.0.983.

.975 was already pretty good, so what issues are you talking about?

.975 is OK if you like to leave your bluetooth on all the time. Otherwise if you want to enable or disable it I have to shut all connection off and turn them back on first or reboot the phone.
