I got a text that had a sound with it, I deleted the message, but now everytime I get a text, BBM or email this sound plays. I've deleted the message and looked through my ringtones and sounds and can't find it anywhere. It even plays when my phone is set to silent!

Any suggestions?

Delete the message and pull the battery. You will have to do this everytime you get sound or send sound in a mms.

I had same problem with my Tour after the 5.0 update. Delete and battery pull worked for me . .

It's a known bug with Verizon's 5.0.0.591. Rolling back to an earlier version is the only cure at this time.

I had a similar issue. I kept getting a BBM new message alert and a BBM new message icon, even though I didn't have any new messages. My BB made the new message alert for HOURS. I went to BB App world and updated to new release of BBM, seems to have fixed the problem.
