Tried uninstalling and re-installing, when I try to ID a song, ANY song, it comes back, not found. Im thinking the software isnt ready yet for the tour but then im not sure why they installed the download link option out of the box....?

Try setting the application permissions for song ID to allow for all, it should fix this.

I've never had a use for it. But I suppose it could come in handy.

I guess I'll have to give it a try on the Tour. When it first came out, I wasn't to impressed with the cost to use it.

hey, my tour was doing the same thing for song ID. Here is what I did and it fixed it, IDs songs like a champ now.

Goto options --> advanced options --> applications

highlight songid --> hit blackberry menu key and goto edit permissions

hightlight connections hit blackberry menu key then hit expand--set internet to "allow"

highlight interactions hit bb menu then hit expand. goto recording and set to "allow"

hit bb menu key and hit save. works fine for me now

EDIT: nevermind, got it working on my Sprint Tour. Works like a charm.
