Solution: HTTP Error 504 Gateway timeout
- Greetings.
I recently encountered a problem with my phone where the blackberry browser would timeout and not connect to any web pages. I could get into the web using Opera Mini so I knew that my phone was okay. The problem had to be on the network side (Sprint).
The solution that I found was in updating my "Preferred List".
1. Options
2. Mobile network
3. Menu button
4. click "Update Preferred List"
After doing that my phone was back on the web using the blackberry browser.
Hope this helps someone.

I spent two days trying to figure this out and finally called tech support and they said that it was because when i copied and pasted i didn't take off the http:// in the browser box. (You need only one)
Good luck! I hope this helps.11-25-09 10:30 AMLike 0 - Make sure when you copy the URL into your browser, that you do not have two http://'s in the browser.
