Since I recently upgraded, when I am typing a SMS text, if I hit the Return key to try and get to the next line, the text is being sent instead. Is there a way to turn this off? I want to be able to get to the next line, not send a text, with the return key.

First of all, you shouldn't be putting paragraphs in your sms messages.

But to turn this feature off, hit your Blackberry menu key, go into options>sms text. You should see "press Enter key to send". Change that to "no".

Op can send 160 charecters just like you. Let them use the 160 as they see fit.

Shift then Enter will give you a new paragraph. Or just turn the feature off like what was suggested above.

Enter key can preserve the life of your trackball. Saves 2 clicks each time you send an SMS. That can add up pretty quick.
