Before anyone gets after me for doing a "search" note that I already did and couldn't find the answer (though I know it's been talked about).
Does anyone know how to make it so my sms messages don't just show up after I unlock the phone and it's in the holster?

The device is designed for quick-draw users. If you wait 10-15 seconds, it won't auto-open.

I know you can do it on the Tour - I'm not sure you have it because your info says you have the Curve 8310. But it's in General Options under the SMS or Messages view and it's called "Auto Open Newest Message After Removing Device From Holster" LOL what a setting name anyways I think that's what you want

Or u can go into the options menu after going into ur sms icon and scroll all the way down to where it says auto open new est messege when removed from holter and select never.

Does anyone else have the problem where your texts won't send, just stuck pending?

I'm new to Blackberry so I apologize if this is a dumb question lol

I changed the setting on my tour to never auto open, but it still does it for text messages. Emails do not auto open. I do have my SMS and Email boxes seperate.
