I have a Tour that was just issued last week by by employer. I tend to leave it sitting on my desk while I run upstairs or across the hall (read - bathroom) and have received an e-mail or SMS while I was away from my desk. Before the Tour, I used a LG VX8700, and it had a setting to repeat an audible alert every XX-minutes if an SMS alert was not acknowledged. I can find no such setting for the Tour.
Am I missing something or is this a feature that is not applicable with the Tour?
Every time I return to my desk after a meeting in the "oval office" (read - bathroom) I just glance at my phone and see if the little red light is blinking. If it's not, I didn't miss anything and don't need to pick it up...
