I went to back up my Tour and it asked me for a password. I typed in the screen lock password and it keeps rejecting it. It also changed the numerical password to asking for a letters password. Now I cannot get into the phone at all. Any suggestions.

Oh well, I am wiping the phone and starting over.

What you are describing usually is a result of entering a shifted or alt'd password. Since the password entry is masked, you can't see what you are entering. It's easy to think you are entering wert when you are actually entering 123(.

Thanks Jeff, I went ahead and wiped the phone and getting a clean start. Likely needed it anyway.
