Can someone tell me what a screen ripple is? Sometimes when I am looking at the web or playing brick breaker something flashes on the screen and goes away.

ever touch an LCD display? Ripples flow across the LCD, like ripples on water, when you press a button (or touch the screen).

screen ripple is common with 8900, 9630 its nothing to worry about. I looks like a pebble being thrown into a rainbow pond.

    Hope this helps!

Ok that happens sometimes if I press to hard on the keyboard. Any idea what it would be for things to flash on the screen?

    OS glitch.

DON'T PRESS ON THE KEYBOARD TO MAKE THE SCREEN RIPPLE.

Pressing on an LCD can do permanent damage. Screens are expensive to replace so DON'T DO IT.

Though i fyou cannot avoid making the screen ripple when you press the trackball or typing, exchange it. It is a defect.

But yes, do NOT press on the screen.

Assurian would save you the screen replacement price.
