So here's the issue, for the last three days my tour with its ringtone profile set to "medium" with all of my fun ring tones, (mostly from Crackberry) has resorted to a simple ding no matter what is happening. Changing ringtone profiles didn't fix it, and a battery pull didn't fix it.
Any ideas? Please help I have these ringtones for a reason!!!

Tragically, RIM broke the entire ringtone profile in the Tour and its OS. They had it down to a science in prior devices and somehow blew it.

There are a few threads - try searching for one with "solve" or "solved" and see if that turns up the one I'm thinking about.
