So I downloaded 2 new ringtones. So far I have not assigned them to anything, yet they both play. One plays every single time I get a text....even if I have a specific tone set to the person that sent it...it will play their tone then the new one. The other plays after I receive phone calls. It is driving me nuts! How do I get it to stop? I tried deleting the 2 new tones and it won't let me! HELPPPPPPP

did you try a battery pull? what os do you have?

I'm doing the battery pull now....I have no idea what OS...how can I tell?

This is a problem with the new VZW OS .519.

Tons of threads on this subject already.


From what I understand (I don't have this problem so I didn't research it that well) the only thing to fix it is a battery pull and it seems to only be temporary.

i turn the volume to 0 after i listed to a mms with sound. hasn't failed yet!
