I just received my new tour in the mail, and i installed .230 on it. My old tour is also running it, its just that it had a broken microphone and had to get it replaced. I wiped my old tours data, but I was wondering if i have to downgrade the os to 4.7 before i mail it back to verizon or not?

Well, I would say yes, downgrade your old one back to 4.7.... you would rather be safe than have to deal with it again, in case they were to make a stink about the OS issue.

Nobody has really flat out said that they've had a problem after having sent back a phone to the carrier with a leaked/unofficial OS on it, but why take that chance.... the carrier would have grounds to void your warranty in the end.
