Trying to get my new tour to repeat the audible notifications for SMS messages. Doesn't look like it's possible without a 3rd party (paid) solution? I was able to do it on the curve--these sound profiles are obnoxious.

I was thinking about just taking a stock sound, and looping it with some editing software--but there doesn't seem to be an easy way to pull the sounds off the BB?

Any help appreciated...

Make a fresh one and add it to the media card and use it from there. Loop it several times and it should run for a bit I have done it.

yeah, how do i get the stock sounds off of the BB in order to edit them?
oh, and would this problem be fixed with an OS v. 5 upgrade?

Yes, profiles are much better in OS 5 than OS4.7.x, where you can edit them all, customize them, and they actually work.
