I plan on giving away my 9630 Tour because I got a new phone, so I was wondering, do I need to remove the SIM card from the device? I've never used the Tour out of the country and my phone line is already on my new phone. I've already wiped it clean and reinstalled a fresh OS 5.0.

I would leave the SIM in the phone. However, if you ever called up VZW and had them add the SIM card number to your account, call them to have it removed. Someone could use the SIM card overseas and the charges would post to your account I believe.

The SIM belongs to the overall "phone package" just as much as the headset/car charger does, so leave it.
