Remember last selection

I just got the tour and I am wondering if there is a way to get the BB to remember my last selection when using email, SMS, MMS and BBM?

By default, the BlackBerry remembers the last address you used for a contact. Is that what you are wanting? If so, it will happen with no action needed on your part.

Thinking more like when you open a SMS and you hit the BB button, I want it to default to "reply" and not have to roll down to it every time.

How about using shortcuts like hitting the "R" button for "Reply" then when you go to menu, it will be on "send" and no need to scroll.

There is a thread here on all the shortcuts, plenty of good ones. Its worth the search. Once you know all the shortcuts that your BB has, you will enjoy it even more. You can also search the "tips and tricks" thread, plenty to learn from there.
The Tour is an awsome device.
