When I am at my desk, I connect my Tour via USB to a port on one of my external monitors for my laptop so that it charges. I have been getting great battery life on my Tour ever since I changed the global network setting. Last night, my Tour had 40% battery left when I went to bed. I put it on standby and put the laptop to sleep. I knew--from my experience with Treo--that the Tour would not charge during the night. That was fine. This morning when I woke the computer up, the Tour was totally dead--white screen with the black clock thing was all I could see. When I plugged it in, it said the battery was drained. I have no idea what would have done that in the middle of the night. Could the computer have somehow pulled power off the battery? It has not been dying in the night before. Obviously I can just know not to leave the Tour attached to a sleeping laptop, but I am trying to figure out why it did this. Any ideas? Thanks!
