Alright, I had not had this problem until about 2 weeks ago. Out of nowhere, my profile sounds stop working, and in their place, just some random tones that I do not have set up in my profile. Also, when it is in the case, no audible alerts go off, just the LED. As soon as I do a soft reset, it goes back to nomral. I'm running 4.7.1.53 since it came out. I need help!

Hmm. There has been reports of problems with profile settings in various OS versions. I am running .230 and I have yet to experience any problems with the profiles and changing sounds.

I guess I'll just deal with it until 5.0 comes out, officially. Don't feel like downgrading since that is currently my only problem.

Same is happening to me... random sounds for alerts - I have noticed that many of my sounds are different when I am plugged in to the PC but that happened before the recent 4.7 upgrade.....now it's just happening whenever. So I pick up the phone and say "Wonder what new message I have now?" since I can't tell by the alert tone.

I would reinstall the OS if I were you. Sounds like something went wonky when installing your OS.

and another small note....in your profile, you have the Tour marked as 8630....it's in fact the 9630 lol easy mis-key

Also, update to the .57 Sprint release. It runs great and I've had NOT ONE single issue in the past week-ish that I've been running it. Might help.
