Anyone else having a problem with the loud profile igorning what volume set for e-mail.

RIM broke them all with the TOUR.

Search Crackberry.com blogs for answer. In short you have to create totally new profiles if you want them to have independent sound/vibrate or ringtones. Customizing the built-in profiles won't work as it did with the 1,000 previous versions of the OS. The same setting applies to them all.

I found the same problem. Is there a way to delete the default sound profiles so you don't have a list of 10 profiles?

Likewise, here... and if you use VibRing I simply use the normal profile and modified the ring profile with NO vibrate. Now I get vib and ring together like I did on the Curve.
