So I downloaded and installed the Sprint 5.0 OS, deleted the vendor.xml, started the apploader, but it's not showing up! All that's there is my 3rd party apps. Where did I mess up?

Do you have any other bb os installed on your system?

And are you wiping your bb to fresh install or upgrading what you have?

Nope just the Sprint OS. And I'm just upgrading what I have instead of wiping.

so you installed the os on your pc,, and ran loader located at C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader ?

Did you delete the vendor.xml file?

I also read to disconnect from the internet while doing this with leaked versions. Being your on vzw, and downloading sprints os, try disabling your internet and see if that works.
