Depending on how you purchased it. If you purchased it at a retail location just take your receipt into the store and have them credit your original payment option. If you purchased online, via telesales, or through a company poc call customer service and they will be able to credit you. They usually credit the difference to the account as a bill credit. Its all money though rght.
Can you really? That would be cool, if so. But I kinda look at it like going back to the supermarket because the can of beans I bought 3 days ago is now a lower price and I would like a refund for the difference.
That's more like it.....although Best Buy has been running them at that price for at least 2 weeks. I got my Tour on sale at Best Buy for $129 and got what seems to be a solid phone out the gate.
Good info OP for people considering purchasing a Tour but not wanting to pay the advertised price.

I know from past experiences that Verizon credits you the difference in price within the first 30 days. A lot of companies do that for a matter of fact so I'm not sure what your supermarket comment has to do with anything.

The funny part Amazon was selling it for $99.99 and now they raised the price to $148.94. I wonder what their reason was.
VZW now has the Tour online for $149. After my new every 2, that would make it $99. PLUS I have a $33 credit on my bill.
I have already had and returned the Tour for loose battery door (and other issues) adnd have been trying the iPhone. Although the iPhone does do video better, does that realy matter in a 'phone?'
nice. was gonna buy it last night but fell asleep..woke up and now 150...priceless! i just ordered, and with a 30 dollar NE2...can't beat it.. woooo tour!

Decisions....decisions...
Stick with BlackBerry. I have an iPhone and it's great for web and video but I use my phone for email, news updates, messaging and IM. For communication the iPhone is miserable. The lame background notification setup cannot compare to the BlackBerry and the fact that Apple is constantly prohibiting apps using their absurd arbitrary "thumbs up thumbs down" process makes the iPhone infuriating. I dumped the iPhone and went with an unlocked G1....good device but battery life if pathetic and the Android OS is very laggy. I now have an 8900 and am never boared with it and it does what I want it to do.....and now that RIM bought Torch, a new webkit browser will be on Blackberry in the near future. So far BlackBerry leaves all the others in the dust IMO anyway.

hi
bought 2 tours on saturday last - was charged $149 - thought it was odd cause i thought the price was $199 but why complain - the verizon girl helping me was smart and cute - can't beat that combo for the price.
The 30 day price adjustment makes some sense because within the 30 days you can return and repurchase the item. I'm pretty sure you cancel your contract within the 30 days too.
