Possible upgrade?

contract with Verizion coming up. I have a tour and love it, but if I can get an upgrade, what should I go to. Bold 9650 or what? I would appreciate all suggestions.

Purchase a Bold 9650 online and save your upgrade for the Bold Touch.
Unless you want to purchase a device that's available now.

9650 is a tour, with a trackpad, 6.0 and wifi. seems like a total waste of a 2 yr contract. unless youre ready to switch to another carrier or to Android or iOS, there isnt really much choice from VZW.

Wait for the boldTouch if youre set on bb and vzw. I'm getting a Driod Incredible2. very soon. im kinda over BB.

I agree with everyone else, no sense wasting ur upgrade on a device that's EOL. U can pick up a good BB Bold in the market place for a really low, cheap price. Wait to get ur upgrade in late Q3. U can sell the bold online and use that $$ towards ur new BB Bold Touch

I did this very thing: Bought a 9650 on ebay so I could save my upgrade for the 9930. Sprint will have the 9930 on August 21st (according to Crackberry) and I am pretty sure Verizon will be soon after.

Yep, get a used Bold 9650 on FleaBay or elsewhere, don't get stuck in a 2yr contract for it, wait until a few months and see what comes out this fall.

Save the upgrade. The Bold Touch should be out by August or September. The 9650 is nice but I wouldn't waste my upgrade so close to the 9930 release.

Yes, save your upgrade! Vzw reps have been misleading customers with fancy lines like "our latest blackberry is the Bold w/ 6.0 os" BS. I've been pushed this lame attempt to upgrade to the "bold" 9650 a few times on Vzw calls to cs about unrelated things.

on the last one I took it up w/ a supervisor and said basically don't bring that BS up again just because I've had an upgrade on both my lines since March. No big deal but I hate bs like that so I gave them a hard time just to vent b/c they tried pushing the 9650 like 3 times in a row on different calls.

Why the heck would I waste my upgrade on that?? I've had the Tour since like Oct '09!
