Default Please HELP Keypad/Trackball

About 5 days ago I noticed that I had to push my trackball harder so that it could select text messages, etc. Three days later a bit of water got on the front of the phone, and I wiped it off. It wasn't a lot, maybe 3-4 raindrops worth of water. I didn't bother to check then, but immediately after practiced I noticed my keyboard was not working. Only when a call is coming through or when I connect it to the charger will the screen light up. I have removed the battery several times along with blow drying and the rice technique. It didn't come in contact with more than a little bit of water, but anything is worth a try. This is my fourth or fifth phone and is starting to become nerve wrecking. Any suggestions?
