I have tried everything i know to install opera mini 5.0 beta on my tour with no luck...is there something I am missing

Tell us exactly what you have done.
Tell us exactly what OS version is on the device.
Tell use exactly how much File Free is on the device currently.

I opened bb browser. went to opera mina 5.0 beta download page. downloaded to my bb tour installed to my bb tour.
o.s 4.7 came with the tour

4gig free is impossible. The device doesn't have that much memory.

Go to Options > Status and read the third line where it says "File Free".

And what happens when you go to the download page for the application?
Nothing? Something? What messages do you see?
Is the application listed in your Applications list? Options > Applicatons
Is the application icon found in your Downloads folder?

It's really difficult to provide help when you don't give details.

Also, you might want to update your profile as it indicates that you have the 8330.
