A friend of mine lost his tour while he was at work (we live in northern canada, and it was about -25c), basically it sat outside for a whole day, frozen. He said it didnt get wet or anything since the temps were so cold. I tried drying it out for 5 days anyway, figuring better be safe. He got an iphone after he had lost it, so he gave the tour to me, I currently have a curve and would like the upgrade

So after drying it out, i put the battery in and the phone turns on but the screen has lots of different colors going on, the phone still makes sounds, and flashes lights like theres an unread msg. Is there any help for this phone or is it permanently borked?

i'd say the freeze on the phone has ruined it.
