    Default OTA of the OS update from Verizon...

    if I chose to update it via OTA... will it delete all my 3rd party apps?

    curious as to that and the message that i am recieving saying that "CHARGES MAY APPLY FOR UPDATING OTA" Is that true?

    charges for what?

    Theres an updated os that basically just has some bug fixes as seen here

    The "charges" are merely OTA charges, which you don't have. Don't worry about it.

    But does anyone know if it'll wipe my Tour clean or just update the OS like it does apps?

    Upgrade Known Issues (this is 1 of several)

    When upgrading to the MR1 software, the BlackBerry Messenger application will be downgraded from the current version (5.0.0.33) to an earlier version (4.7.0) of the application. The 4.7.0 version of the application is compatible with the new MR1 software and none of the customer data (such as Contacts) will be lost when the application is downgraded. The customer can upgrade to the 5.0.0.33 application through BlackBerry App World (to download BlackBerry App World, select Application Center and scroll to and select BlackBerry App World) by selecting Downloads, then selecting BlackBerry App World, then scroll to and select BlackBerry Messenger.
