I think the OP is probably got a desktop manager 5.0 update confused with the OS.

not sure what u asking me seb, i was asking if 5.0 is out for vzw tour or if 4.7 is the latest for now. not sure how to update the os, and wondering if i am behind in regards to OS

Ahh, sorry, I didn't get that. As for right now, 5.0 is but a dream. But hope to see it come true soon.

naw i understand the difference. the bbm is 5.0 that i know but the phone os is 4.7. just asking what is the latest?

Dark you do know that you could run a Hybrid of 4.7 and 5.0 or you could get a unoffical 5.0 release. These aren't official releases from VZW but if you want some else besides what came stock on the Tour you have a option.

I have been running the 4.7 Hybrid by Irtehun for about a week and see a dramatic difference over the stock OS. Just a thought........
