I just upgraded to 5.0 and I am kinda upset.. One feature I love with BB is, hitting the "R" button to reply and "L" to reply to all. Unfortunately this feature isnt currently working.. any ideas??

It works just fine for me on my 5.0.0.230.

It's because of the threaded text messaging. I would think there will be a way to disable threaded text messaging when the official release is out if you really want to, but as of now there is not. But with threaded texts it eliminates the need to hit r for reply.

I miss having that shortcut to hit the R to reply.... but in return though we get threaded text messages now.

Yeah, I missed that too. I got use to pressing r to reply. But its not that bad though, when you get use to it.

ok... another question.. i think i downloaded BBM 4.7, but there is no icon for a BBM,, is this correct because of the threading?

BBM should still be there on your phone if you installed it. Threaded tesk massages and BBM are 2 different things... you should have both and have an icon for it as well.

i downloaded 4.7 with a different link and it worked.. NOW all my contacts are gone WTF!

Ok, now I'm confused. R and L work just fine for emails. You guys are talking about SMS?

You realize that instead of having to press R to reply, now you just click it or press enter? It's still just ONE key and it automatically takes you to the entry box where you type your reply.

Search the forums for BBM 4.7. Dl it and install. Then restore your phone/contacts. And ur 4.7 will have ur contacts
