Aftermarket housing. Just one complaint is the fitment around the trackball is not as tight as the stock cover but I can fix that.

Yes but it protects it. I have dropped my phone 3 times since I bought it and not one scratch on it anywhere. I can pull it out if needed. LOL.

Just take your time. The hardest part was the top cover where the blackberry is written. Take your time with that one.

I like my clear case from vzw cuz its protectivew but its clear so u can still see the white. I might put my carbon fiber back on my battery door too. What do you think?

Mine peeled off with a little prying and patience with the plastic tool I received with the case. Just took my time again. I will get some high strength contact cement before I put it on for good.
