I download .230 and ran the installation. I opened DM (I have the latest version) and when I check for upgrades it does not have os 5.0.230. What am I doing wrong? I have the tour on VZW network.
Yes this is my first blackberry, I am usually very good with this kind of stuff but am confused as **** right now.
I had the same problem. Also using Verizon. I had to remove older versions of the OS, then running app loader found the new OS. If you search under "Council" you will find a group called "the council" which answer questions for bb users. The details of what/why you need to uninstall all older versions of the OS can be found there (look around page 51-52). If you can't find it, let me know. Good luck!
