love the phone........ waiting for this to come out to get my first blackberry...any ideas on price???is this really gonna be 299 like the bold or about 199 like the storm???would they really make this more expensive with a new 2 yr than the storm?

as of now, no one knows the price. probably wont know until about a month prior to release.

I'm sure there will be speculation for it in the next few months, just like the Storm. ****, we didn't get an official press release about the Storm till like a week or so before the release.

I can't imagine them selling this for more than the Storm. I'd say 199 with 2 year contract.

It could sell for more than the Storm. The Storm had to be price similiar to the iPhone since it was a consumer targeted device.

I agree most of the latest BBs have sold or are selling for no less than $199 with contract stipulations. I can"t see this going for any less.

Yeah usually a week to a month before launch we usually find this kind of info out. It will be intersting to see how much it is priced at though.

I think you are all correct on the 199 Price tag. It is Verizon after all. (You know, the carrier that mandates data packages)

So, That being the case. I think 200 smackeroos sound fair.

I would guess 200 because it really doesn't improve much on the storm, and it only adds a keyboard.

699 would be my guess. Don't forget it has a better processor than the Storm also, and it may (or may not) have wifi.

I tend to think that this BB will quietly come out, and be more expensive than the Storm, the Niagara is geared more towards the Business sector, so I can easily see 299
