Guys, I am a Storm guy, but I need help with the Tour my Dad just got.
He's on Sprint, it's a Sprint 9630.
He traded an older 8330m for it on CL. However, this 9630 had some things done to it to start flashing it to MetroPCS.
We got it working for calls and texts.
There is no browser, or any BIS info. I have no service books in the phone. I tried updating the provisioning, it doesn't do anything.
The PRL I have in the phone is: 20233
This is apparently the MetroPCS PRL.
I have updated the phone to the Sprint official 4.7.1.57.
For the life of me, I can't figure out what the **** is wrong. Sprint is showing it to have the correct info, but obviously it is wrong. However, they are showing it to have a provisioning problem.
sounds like it flashed, no longer usable on sprints network you can try resending the service books from the bis site, www.sprint.blackberry.net. see if that helps, if not im sorry. thats why i do not buy off craigslist.
