I just downloaded and updated my Sprint 9630 with the 4.7 download found on the BB vendor/sprint website. My 9630 sped up a bit but i didn't look for anything else, what dd you find?

Then why did it upgrade and speed up? wouldn't it of just said no new goodies found?

the speeding up is your mind perceiving that it did. It is the exact same OS.
Just ask yourself, if you swap out a brand new engine of the exact same car model of the same year into your own new car of the exact same model and year, would it go any faster?
