I just downloaded and updated my 9630 with the 4.7 found under the vendor/sprint section of the BB web site. The unit has sped up but I have not noticed (or looked for) much else. See what you can find

you basically reinstalled the exact same OS the phone came shipped in. The reason why it feels snappier is because your mind is thinking that it is when in fact its the exact same speed.
