# Install instruction to load any carrier 9630 OS on your BB:
1. Download desired OS to your PC
2. Install/run OS to PC
3. Delete vendor.xml file. It's located in c:\program files\common files\research in motion\apploader
4. Connect the BB to Desktop Manager and it should prompt the upgrade. If not click Loader.exe and that should initialize it.
5. Do not unplug your BB during the process. It will take around 30-60 minutes to complete the upgrade.
Yeah I dloaded the official vzw release before it was pulled, I'm aware of that. I guess I just figured the .53 sticky was the same as this, I never really looked at what the sticky actually was, just that it was an official .53 OS.
THANK YOU! I loaded this up last night on my VZW Tour and had no problems! Works great and it solved those pain in the *** problems with BT! Working perfect now. Everyone hears me great in my Ford truck.
Hoping for VZW to finally officialize the new OS so my Bluetooth will work!
I have no problem with the one from the above download page. Works great. Actually I think it works better.....just a bit quicker. The BT issues are fixed for me as well. It was well worth the download in my opinion.
