    I have the phone set to 1EX mode but should I set network selection to automatic or home only? Not 100% sure what this setting does.

    My impression would be that determines if your selection mode applies all the time when you're roaming etc, or if your only in your home network.

    My settings are the same as yours, automatic & 1xEV

    Mine are on automatic and 1XEV also.... i believe most of us have to that setting

    Agreed. I think I remember reading on here somewhere that setting it to 1XEV saved battery so that's why I have it that way.
