Anybody else notice when your using a tour for longer than 10 mins that the back cover by the battery gets hot? For some reason my phone seems to get hotter than I'm really comfortable with. Other than that I'm in love with the new tour!

I haven't noticed that with mine. I downloaded Meterberry... it will tell me exactly how hot my phone is, among other things.

Don't worry, everybody, your (Tour) baking itself to a crisp is no cause for panic, now that (RIM) has found the culprit: the weather and your heartless negligence. Apparently you've been leaving your brand new (Blackberry Tours) in a hot car, and the warm sensation you feel any time you hold the phone has nothing to do with beefed up processors or inadequate cooling. Phew, glad that's all sorted and now nobody will have any problems with self-destructive (Tours) they paid hundreds of dollars for.

Guys, if your phone is getting too hot, take it into a store and have a tech test it and the battery. It may be the battery.

Mine got hot when I was using it for over an hour straight but is now cool after resting for 10minutes. I wouldn't worry unless its something you experience day in and day out. Its could just be the fact that its brand new and still processing some things

Mine def got warmer than my curve after about 10 mins of talking and an hour of messing with it. Its been on the charger and untouched for 45 mins now and is cool to the touch. No panic here..I will just see how it does for a while.

Its due to the Qualcomm MSM7600 processor.

Thanks for the info. I let it sit for awhile and now its running cool. Must of just been overuse issues.

Mine also gets hot when i use it for a while as well as when its on charge. I dont want to take it to the store b/c i dont want to have to set everything back up.

i was texting for 2 hours straight last night without putting my phone down and while it was charging and it never even got warm to where i would even notice, i dont even remember if it got warm at all
