my lock button doesn't work

My tour lock button stopped working. I have to press it like five or six times to lock or unlock the phone. Is there a fix or do i have to have it replaced. I have the official OS on it. Thanks.

Battery pull, try another OS, or reinstall the one you already have.

If nothing changes ask for a remplacement.

did several battery pulls with no luck. I really don't want to install a leak, wold prefer to have the official OS. Guess I'll make a trip to Verizon tomorrow.

Do you have it inside a silicone case sometimes i find that pushing the buttons via silicone case isnot the easiest or best thing to do.

Warranty issue? Return for new/refurb? or wait to see if new Bold comes out and finagle a new one! Might be worth a shot.

lots of users are inquiring. the top left lock used to lock but now that i have updated to 5.0, it goes into a stand-by mode like.

Known issue with update .484. Disabled from locking and there are many threads on it.

That happened with my older Curve, just had to reassign the "lock" to a different side key. I'd take it back and get a new one. It can be a PITA. The phone should work as they designed it.
