My friend dropped her Tour today in a parking lot, it landed face down. Put a star crack in the low corner of the screen.

I offered to research it for her, but I can't find one! The LCD screen below and everything is fine. it is simply the plastic or glass screen piece on top.

Anyone know where I can find one? Looked on Amazon.com and cnn.cn and i couldnt really find it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

try ebay...even if you have to get the whole phone, maybe you can find one for cheap and take the screen off it.

I don't think there's anything replaceable covering the screen on the Tour. At least not that I've noticed the 4-5 times I've had mine apart in the last few weeks. At $105 for a new screen from cnn.cn, it's probably not really worth fixing, either. Broken Tours for parts were going for almost as much as used ones on ebay when I was shopping for mine.

personally I'd switch to a spare phone and buy a tour when the tour 2 comes out. The original tour will be cheaper, even new in the box.

I just priced out a screen on fleabay, and personally I dont think its worth it to try to save the phone with current pricing.

New case on ebay will be around 100 bucks. Filing an insurance claim on the phone will be about the same. Should you buy a case and fix it yourselves, that will void any remaining warranty.

I'd just use the insurance. Fixing it myself would be a pain. That's WHY I pay for insurance every month. It's 90 bucks just pay the 90 bucks and get a brand new one. Well with Verizon. With AT&T it might be more.

The op said the LCD screen was fine, it was the plastic screen that covers the lcd is what cracked.

If the screen cover comes with the housing, then he can get by with this for 24 bucks. Maybe someone who has taken apart a tour can chime in and say whether this plastic screen that goes over the lcd is part of this housing...

I just replaced the bezel on my Tour this week, and there's nothing over the screen, at least not on mine. There might be a layer of glass over the LCD, but I'm not about to break my screen to find out. The screen pokes through the bezel, unlike the Curve.
