my bb screen light

my bb tour 9630 carrier verizon don't know what is the screen light will get dark at times and when i switch it off and leave it for sometimes it comes back. how do i fix it

I don't think there's a fix.
I've updated my OS to the newest, even though I'm on a 9650 and you're on a 9630, but it still hasn't been fixed.
It's probably some paranormal activity going on with our berries.
Because it lights up like if someone was touching the device, but it's just sitting there, idle and alone.
