So I was listening to some music via headphones on my Tour and reading these forums on Opera mini when a BES email came in. Music paused, the email alert tone played... and the song started over from the beginning.

Huh? I hope that's not by design.

Is this normal behavior for the Tour's OS, or is this a bug?

Sounds like a bug to me. I don't have BES email but with BIS email, or text messages, that doesn't happen

Yep, it's an OS bug. This is not by design and never happened while listening to music on my Pearl 8130. Others on the forums have mentioned this happening too. I'm on BIS by the way.

And It Will Do It With Phone Calls. It Doesnt Bother Me That Much.

Pretty much you have to silence all sounds. For whatever reason it doesn't do it with Pandora though. Slacker on the other hand will start over every time.
