    i had a storm before, and when i would play music, for ex, on my speakerphone it was way clearer than on my tour.
    are the tour's speakers just not as high-quality as the storm's, or are mine just defective?

    my only issues with the phone so far are the loose battery door, creaky top ear piece, and now i'm thinking the speakers. but maybe that's just how it's supposed to come? the number on mine is -004.

    The speakers are just not as good for playing music as the Storm.

    It is NOT good if its suppose to sound that bad. I would take it to a local att
    store and have it checked Against a new one. Is what I did with my Bold
    and they said my speakers are bad. The bold they had in store was way
    louder than mine has ever been. Maybe they could help You... Good Luck
