I forget where I read it but it was just a week or so ago. That the MicroUsb is becoming an industry standard. All BB from here on out will have it, and many other phone company's are adopting it also.

It just seems like micro will break easily. I never had a problem with miniUSB detaching but my Pre has done it twice now.

I have an iGO with a MicroUSB tip for the car. That's not my point. I'm worried about the durability of devices that charge with Micro.

you could all just get a usb charger and switch out the cords instead of buying new ones all the time

Really? Wow this will be my 3rd device with a micro usb, and I've never had a problem with breaking or falling out. The connection on my storm is very good, if I have my data cable plugged in and pull straight back the usb comes out of the computer never the storm. Its a very tight connection
