OK, I want to do a master reset/wipe cause I've been playing around with a lot of different apps, setting etc. so I just want to get back to the factory settings and have nothing else on it.

I have my contacts backed up which is all I care about. The question is what info do I need to have if any to have it working on my network like when I left the store?

    Thanks

You don't need anything other than your backup. The 9630 will still be active on your carrier. If you are truly going to take it back to factory condition, you will have to remove the OS and reinstall it. If you just do the security wipe, many settings will be unchanged. If you are going to install an OS, be sure you download it from your carrier or RIM and install it on your PC before you remove it from your 9630.

You can send service books thru the Blackberry Internet Service provider (BIS) for your carrier, either online or thru your phone.

To register the HRT, Options / Advanced Options / Host Routing Table / Register Now.

JL_Cmder and CrackUtil use the same underlying java commands and produce the same result. CrackUtil's help file says it works on 64-bit Vista. It was written before Windows 7 and is no longer supported by the developer, so it may not work with your configuration.

I see that BBSAK automatically removes the vendor.xls file and I will be using my vendors OS. Will this makes things more difficult for me?

No. Removing vendor.xml has no effect if you are using your carrier's OS.

Thanks kill process did it. One thing I don't understand is when I did the reload the apps I had installed before were listed? I thought this was a fresh OS.

It also all ready had both of my emails listed and froze on installing bb messenger. Did a battery pull and will see what happens. Did I do something wrong that all that info was still there?

Did you get to App Error 507 before you reloaded? If you didn't, you didn't remove the OS

Did you get to resending your Service Books? I can't remember when the email inboxes get re-established in the reloading process.

Yes, I think I goofed since it all ready had my email for some reason. I put my name in etc. Then later I did the service books thing and it said that my profile was all ready set to another name so I had it reset. So far all seem good.
