Magnetic Proximity Sensors for trackball broke?

Hi all, was wondering if anyone could help me with this. My brothers old Tour recently stopped working. He got a new one, but I wanted to take a look at the phone, so I removed the trackball and noticed one of the magnets on that the rollers for the trackball slide against was loose, a long while later (long story) I lost the magnet, and ordered a new trackball, however, now I realize that the trackball wasnt the problem and it was the magnet, but where would I go about getting something like that? Do they even sell these magnets? They're really small. Thanks for the help.
