Took my Tour back to the Sprint Repair center today to diagnose the trackball not clicking when pressing down on it. It still works fine, it just doesn't click.
Suprisingly they actually tore the phone down and pulled out the chip/sensor that makes the clicking sound. It had a crack in it.
So they are going to replace it with another refurb.
This will be #4.
While I was there I had a chance to play with the HTC Hero (Android) for about 20 minutes. I was not impressed at all. The browsing experience was 11ty times better than the Tour, but other than that it was kind of blah. Yea it has a ton of apps, but it sleemed very sluggish and maybe a tad too small for my liking.
I'll go back and check out the HTC Supersonic when Sprint has it. Seems those specs are more up my alley.
