I had random reboots with 983 as well on both 9650 and 9630, we went back to 975 which has been quick and solid for both devices.

I was wondering since 975, and 983 are available for both tour and bold, is there any way to reverse engineer the radio file (using file compare in a hex editor) from 6.0.0.333 leak for the tour.

On .983, I had on average 1 reboot daily. There were a couple days I didn't. Until I got the OS settled in, I'd had 2, part of the reason
I do several battery pulls after I download an OS. So far , I've had none since yesterday. Browser seems better, signal has been less jumpy, but I still get no charging indicator when I put it on charge.

I have tried to run this release and the previous release, and I get uncaught exception errors when I try to run BBM, Calendar, Yahoo, and SMS. I got frustrated and went back to an older release.

Well, so far so good! There hasn't been any random restarts, phone seem to respond faster, and memory leaks are at a all time low (from that I can remember). Also the browser seems a little faster. Battery life is better, normally I'll be at 70-80 percent by now with .983 but I'm at 90. The apps I have running is weather plus (update every 2 hours), aim, yahoo, bbm and the normal apps. Did a lot of texting, putting back my settings this morning so I used it a lot more than I normally would and still wounded up with more battery than before.

Default Error Message

I keep getting and error message when trying to update my tour.
I have restared the computer and reloaded everything.

This is what it keeps saying... One or more modules could not be resolved.

What program are you using to load 1030? At what point do you get the error message?

I am still running .624 and am happy with other than the multiple clicks thing in the bb browser. Is that fixed in this new release?

Did you delete the vendor.xml file (if you aren't a sprint customer)?

Hmm...have you tried BBSAK? I would install that, back up, then install the OS. THen load the OS from BBSAK. I do that an I haven't had any errors, reboots, etc.

I would say it's safe to at least update to .975.

It's now 2:28PM the next day and .1030 is still running good. No reboots with heavy usage.

Here are the steps that will work, regardless of the quirks in DM & BBSAK:
1. backup systems setting with DM
2. backup 3rd party apps with BBSAK
3. wipe OS with BBSAK
4. load OS using loader.exe in the OS AppLoader folder
5. restore system settings with DM
6. restore 3rd party apps with DM

Both DM & BBSAK can cause errors when trying to load an OS. I've loaded official, leaked and hybrid OS' about 50 times this past year and have run into all these errors. I think the steps outlined above are the safest. Good Luck!
JB
