Keyboard stops working with password?

Hey,
Recently my tour had some problems. I have a password on my blackberry, and yesterday while entering my password, whenever i press 'h' (since my password has an 'h' in it), it submits whatever i typed in without pressing enter. This kept on using my invalid password attempts and I had to wipe the phone as a result. However, the key 'h' works fine now after wiping the phone. How should I fix this problem?
